Pink's Hot Dog Sunrise

It seems like I've had a lot of late nights the last month. From midnight shoots to some tight deadlines, it's been common to look up and see the coming sunrise. Usually that's my cue to pack it in and grab a few hours of sleep, but this morning I decided it was time to take a break from assignments and have some fun.

I hope you enjoy the result above. The photo was taken at the usually very crowded Pink's hot dog stand on La Brea. Funny enough the only person there this morning was a homeless woman that felt I needed to have a condom (thankfully, in the wrapper). At least I think that was her motivation. Otherwise, I can't explain why she kept throwing the thing at us.

A thanks worth noting is to my friend Michael that achieved sainthood by being coaxed out to help me this morning. Breakfast at IHOP really doesn't repay getting up at 5:15 on a Sunday morning to help an eccentric friend, so send the man some good thoughts.
